In 2000 I was invited by Federal Publishing (now News Limited) to co-present a series of 30 and 60 second TV cooking segments in conjunction with Good Taste Magazine and Woolworth’s. The segments were aired just before the 6.00pm and 9.30pm news breaks on Channels 7 and 9 and ran for four years till 2004. The segments featured recipes from the Good Taste Magazine and were called Fresh Today.
During the second year of production, I also began writing the scripts and co-producing the segments. It was during this experience I mastered script writing and the conveying of comprehensive content in limited time frames.
